I specialize in business German, in particular in the areas of Accounting and Finance. I have degrees in Accounting and German and have worked as an accountant in both the private and public sector. I have also worked as a stockbroker (Series 7 & 63 qualified).
I have extensive experience translating annual reports, accounting manuals and memoranda dealing with cost accounting, SAP systems, and accounting standards (IFRS/IAS, US-GAAP, and the German HGB), both for the American and Continental markets.
In addition to business German, I have also done extensive translation work in the areas of genealogy (my avocation), politics and economics, as well as military ground forces.
